Teaching Exeptional Children
During the past two decades, teo major development have influenced the field of disability research and practice: (1) better diagnostic systems and advances in genetics and neuroscience have made it possible to idnetify a variety of neurodevelopmental problems during the first 5 years of a child's life, and (2) a gradual change in the public perception of disabilities has prompted a paradigm shift and policy change from isolation to inclusion of all children and individuals with disabilities in schools and communities in which the live.
