Understanding Audits and Audit Reports
In this book chapter 1 is devoted to a consideration of the major characteristic of financial statements and disples a number of misconceptions about them. Chapters 2-6 discuss the audit engagement and resulting report. Finally, Chapter 7 explains two other situations in which chartered accountants are involved with financial statements but do not audit them-the review and the non-review.
