The aim of this collection of notes and readings is to provide a discussion of the issues and controversies relating to contemporary financial accounting topics, using an institutional, histocal, and international perspective. This collection is thus designed to be used as a readings supplement in an intermediate accounting course, as well as a resource book in an accounting theory seminar.
